Business Process, Data, and Systems
Integration:

Not all software is web-based; some don’t even have a user interface. This type
of critical software is often used to define or encapsulate business processes
or integrate data from multiple sources and systems. Wenzel Software has more
than two decades of experience redesigning and streamlining not only data but
physical business processes. Connecting disparate systems into one unified
system is challenging, but is also the type of rewarding business enhancement
services in which Wenzel Software excels.
-
Technology and Software Assessments:

Technology changes from day to day. Firms that specialize in areas other than
technology consulting simply can’t afford to keep up. That’s what we do – we
keep up with the pace of technological change. In order to get a handle
on where your technology stands today and where you need to take it tomorrow,
you must seek out a qualified consultant for the best advice. Wenzel offers
expert, Microsoft-centric assessments for your software, network
infrastructure, security and personnel.
-
Temporary or Part-Time CIO:

The CIO position at any corporation is very important and very visible.
Companies large enough to justify a fulltime CIO, often find themselves
in-between CIO’s and must spend the time required to find just the right person
to fill this critical position. Unfortunately, the business cannot stop until
they find a suitable candidate, but neither can it ignore the current IT
environment. In these circumstances, we can step in and fulfill the duties as
an interim CIO. This will give the business the time necessary to find the
perfect replacement CIO, and allows the IT issues to be appropriately handled
at the same time.
Additionally, there are many companies that could benefit from the high-level
IT organization of a CIO, but cannot justify the cost of a seasoned fulltime
employee. For these companies, we can act as a part-time CIO, dedicating as
much regularly occurring time as you deem appropriate. The amount of time and
regularity is completely controlled by the needs of each company. It could
range anywhere from several hours per day to several hours per quarter. Of
course, we would also be available for any emergencies that popped up requiring
immediate CIO attention.
-
Technical Team Training and
Mentoring:

How do you take your team of developers, proficient in your legacy
application’s care and feeding, and retool them for your next project? It is
critical that you not underestimate the time it takes to train your technical
staff in the ways of .NET. Even experienced Visual Basic and ASP programmers
will be disoriented when moving to the latest technology.
If your company is thinking of moving to the latest Microsoft technology, like
.NET, then Wenzel Software can most certainly help transition your staff by
acting as technical mentor and assisting you in developing your training
curriculum and coding standards.
-
"Virtual Office" Design and
Consulting:

It’s a fact that many businesses do not need to have their employee’s report to
a central location to perform their business functions. Unless your employees
need to physically interact with equipment, machinery or customers it is
entirely possible that they can do their work from a remote location, such as
their home office.
As an employer, just imagine being able to extend your reach to attract the
best employees from a small radius, of about 45-60 driving minutes, around your
physical location to anywhere in the country or even most of the world! Just
imagine how much more productive and happy your employees would be if they had
ZERO commuting time. You have literally given the average employee 7.5 to 10
hours of EXTRA time each week – to do with how he/she sees fit!
The technology exists today to set up “virtual offices” anywhere in the country
and have that employee be MORE connected to coworkers and mangers than if they
were physically present in an office or cubicle. If it sounds crazy, it isn’t –
it is a reality! Contact Wenzel Software, we can help guide your virtual
company down the right paths and guarantee success – because we have already
done this ourselves. This is not simply a technology issue, there are social
and managerial issues when dealing with a virtual workforce – but the
advantages FAR outweigh the concerns.
