We can help you with Live On-Location Audio Recording your musical groups at no cost to you!

  • FREE Live On-Location Audio Recordings:
    We provide FREE live audio recording for Schools and other larger non-profit organizations. How we get "paid" for this is through CD sales. If we can sell in the neighborhood of 50 CD's for any given live performance we can cover our costs and provide this service for FREE. People interested in purchasing CD's of any given performance may do so on our website and pay with a credit card or PayPal account. The CD's may vary slightly in price, but are generally aroung $8.00/each. Of course there is a certain amount of speculation on our part when we provide this FREE service. Rest assured, that when we provide this service to your organization it will cost you nothing.

    If you want to have a more elaborate recording, where you want more control than available during a live performance, we can provide you with Contract Recording Services described below.

  • Contract Recording Services:
    When you want more control over your audio recording, or you are a solo artist or small group, we can still help you make a professional and cost effective digital audio recording. We can base our contract recording services on either a quoted fixed-price or on an hourly basis - which ever is best for you. Our standard rates are:
    • Live Stereo On-Location Recording - $50/hr (+ $50 setup fee)
    • Live Multi-Track On-Location Recording - $50/hr (+ $75 setup fee)
    • Studio Recording - $50/hr
    • Project Editing/Mastering - $50/hr
    • Audio Conversion (your source -> digital) - $50/hr

    Of course we can adjust our rates for larger projects or blocks of time purchased in advance - just contact us to talk about your project.

  • Technology We Use For Your Audio Recordings:
    For our live on-location services we generally use a portable DAW (digital audio workstation) which is capable of recording 8 simultaneous tracks. We would generally record at 16/44 (16bit, 44.1khz ) but we can bump that up to 24/96 (24bit, 96khz) for special situations. All audio CD's end up at 16/44, and for live situations very little is gained by recording at higher rates.

    For Studio recording and for editing and mastering we generally use Cakewalk Sonar running on a PC. If you have any specific technology questions, please feel free to contact us

  • How to Order CD's Online:

    Please note that we NEVER store your credit card information and we use PayPal as a secure site to process all payments. If you have any questions or concerns about purchasing CD's via the internet, please contact us and we will arrange a different method of payment for you.
